Compared to earlier entries in the series, this game’s action moves at a quicker pace, emphasizing quick decision-making and timing. The ATB (active time battle) system, used in the game’s immediate predecessor but replaced with turn-based combat, has been brought back for the sequel. Yuna, who is adamant about solving the riddle, plans a trip called “sphere-hunting,” She will try to locate more of the mysterious spheres dispersed over the planet and, if she’s lucky, find Tidus.
